MIFUNE – DOGME #3
Kresten lives in the yuppie-circles of Copenhagen, overlooking a brilliant career, right up until he gets a phone call from the small Danish island Lolland on his wedding night, and learns that his father has died. He finds it difficult to explain to his wife Claire, as he has conned everyone into thinking that he has no family. It does not get easier for Kresten when he reunites with the ancestral and denigrated farm, where he meets with his older, lagging brother Rud, who is lonely, seedy and unable to take care of himself.
